    Roller Triggers

I know there have been threads about this but i dont understand:

What, exactly, is a roller trigger? In a movie i downloaded off this forum from a previous thread that was supposed to be of a roller trigger, it looked like a normal trigger to me.

What allows them to allow people to shoot so fast? Are they drop in kits? What online stores offer them/ information about them?

Has anyone had notable success with a perticular roller trigger? Why is it that some people dont like them, ie how are they differnent in pull than a normal trigger?

    Thanks for your time

      Well i'm no expert

...But roller triggers are double finger triggers with a small little rolling wheel in point between the two finger grooves on the trigger. Ummm.. no I don't thing they are drop in things. I think AGD Made them at one time briefly and then people made them on thier own..(I really don't know). What the triggers do is allow you to just move your finger up and down across that wheel and that moves the trigger back and forth with a smoother motion. Somebody else will post and give you a better answer i'm sure.

Catch22 got it pretty much. I just checked and couldn't find them in the AGD store, I thought they were under upgrades. I got mine a week ago, perhaps the last one?! I haven't installed it yet because it requires tapping holes in the side of the trigger the little screws go in to hold the frame that holds the roller. Same concept as the guy in the video but your finger would move up and down over the wheel instead of the hump in a 2x trigger. I'm pretty sure cphillip has one on his xmag, i'll look for a link!

Here you go. http://www.automags.org/forums/showt...threadid=73636 The kit comes w/ 2 rollers, one for blade triggers and one for 2x.
