    Quick classic bolt question



    I've been trying to get a valve that I bought a while back working in my standard body mag. I completely rebuilt the valves soft parts with a AGD kit and it still sputters. I then noticed the bolt was different from my other bolts. I believe this might be the problem.
    As you can see in the pic above the flange that the sear holds is flat, the flange on this bolt has a 1/16" 45* face where the sear should catch.
    Is this an aftermarket bolt? I think the chamfer is keeping the sear from catching the bolt.

        Sorry, dude, That bolt is junk. Looks like someone filed it down. You need a new bolt.
