Ok...I was on pbreview.com today, and while it is a good site in its own merits....there are two problems that really have begun to make myself mad because ignorant paintballers just want to make their own purchases sound great.
1.) Nearly every review, of either a Cocker or Timmy...says that these markers shoot further than "anything out there" and that you could shoot them so far on any field with no adjustments. Haven't we already established the reasoning behind range? Unless they are all using the flatline effect
then this certainly isn't possible, if your putting out 900 or more for a new Timmy or Cocker..have an idea of what your saying.
2.) People are reviewing markers that aren't even available yet! They post products faster than ever now on pbreview.com but the problem is not many people shoot a pre-release version. Sure some people actually do get their hands on one, but how can you say by this marker without ever seeing the thing! If anybody wants to see a perfect example look at the Evil Omen and 2003 Shocker reviews, they are ridiculous!
Well thats all for me, post whatcha think I just want to make sure im not the only one who doesn't like misinformation regarding paintball. The range thing is really killing me...is there any way that we can finally get across the message about ranges of markers???
