4.5k bottle on a 3k reg

Is it safe to put a 3k flatline reg on a 4.5k bottle and fill it to 4.5k? Will the flatline still work? Besides replacing the burst disk, anything else I could do to get this to work? thanks.

Parts inside the reg weren't designed to handle that pressure. There were a few small redesigned parts. You can tell on the AGD Store.

Sorry. Not going to work. It'd still have to be filled to 3000. No more.

4500 Flatline reg is somewhere in the vacinity of $200-$300. I'd PM Tunaman for sure. He mentioned it to me off-hand once. He'd know for certain.
