Im confused... all this money, so many options?

Ok, so I've been pulling 80 hours a week since the semester ended (which was about 2 weeks ago, gotta love graduate school) and my money now burns the proverbial hole in the pocket.

Originally I wanted (and still want) and Xmag, but finding one is difficult at best.

I currently have a MicroRT2000 with level 10. I like it very much. Is it possible to add some kind of upgrade kit to make it an Emicromag, or would I have to buy a new gun?

Also, (Tom would probably be the best to answer this) One of the things that attacts me to the Xmag is the ACE. If i would go the regular Emag route (With a ULE body, since i have loads of cocker barrels and no mag barrels) would the ACE kit eventually be able to retrofit into the regular Emags?

Please share your opinions. If all things were equal, I would prefer to have an Emag frame fit onto my Micro2000 (if its do-able), however, the PTP customer service isn't as good as AGD, and I would like to have the safety net. Comments?

if you want a x mag but also i micro emag i would say get a microemag and put x valve thats probally as close as youll get to having it the same as an x mag yet with micro e mag body.

The ACE board can not be retrofit into the regular Emags. The regular Emag board doesn't have the connector for it & the grip frame is not milled for the board. The body & rail would have to be milled for the eye.

I think, however, that PTP still does an upgrade to the Emag. Check them out.

BTW- You have a MicroRT. You don't have a body rail. If you want the ULE Body, you need to purchase a rail & a few other parts.

Thanks for the help. I'd prefer having the Xmag for the single reason of the ACE. The warpfeed-side option is kind of cool, but i still think i'd end up using the centerfeed module the most.

I think I also may have expressed myself poorly. I am hoping to gain a little input on what i see to be three options.

A - Wait for an Xmag
B - Upgrade my MicroRT to an EmicroRT
C - Sell my MicroRT, buy an Emag, and buy a ULE body so i can use my cocker barrels. Sorry, but I was NEVER a fan of the mag threaded barrels.

Weight means very little to me. I'd buy a emag body that weighed an extra pound if it had cocker threads.

        Thanks everyone! :)

          BUMMER!

A seemingly tech-realated question has turned into yet another "which gun should I buy" thread...

sorry to disappoint you. You could, however, debate the finer costs\benefits of retrofitting an Emag frame to a micro, with a small deviation into the feasibility of slapping some ACE hardware into a ULE rail.
