why do people say "milled for centerfeed? is there a difference between the normal mag barrel and a centerfeed barrel?

    The difference

On a left or right feed barrel, there is a slot on the outside of the barrel directly opposite the feed port. At the end of this slot, another slot is cut perpendicularly to the first one so that the two slots together look like a "T". The twist lock assembly rides in this slot when you put the barrel in the body and keeps the barrel in place.

Since the slot is shaped like a "T", you can twist the barrel either right or left to lock it. This obviously won't work for a center-feed gun because you could just pull it straight out.

    Enjoy.

that is how I do my barrels. I just drilled a small dent in the barrel right smack in the middle of the "T". push on / pull off ease. I guess it is not "twist" lock anymore huh?
