X-Mag ball detents...

Alright, I wasn't messing with it, so it
s not my fault.

I was showing off my X-Mag (as I tend to do) and someone unscrewed the ball detent from my Vert Module. Now, when I scre it back down to a decent tightness, the black O-ring 'bulges' out sticking out of the space it was intended. I can screw it down to the point just before it bulged, but this does not seem tight enough.

I'll attach a crude drawing to illustrate my point. Now, this cannot be normal, but I've tried everything I can think of...

Any suggestions/tips are greatly appreciated.

As long as the ball (on the detent) sticks out into the breech enough to retain paintballs, it's in enough. Try some good 'ol Loc-Tite to retain the ball detent more positively. You shouldn't need to squish the O-ring for it to be set properly.

mine sticks out a little too after unscrewing it
it works fine
no probs with it at the tourny his weekend
and we shot 10+ cases of paint
