    AGD Europe has X-Mag upgrades?

I was lookin' around the Euro AGD site...

    Saw the upgade package: http://store.securehosting.com/store...php?itemcode=9

I know everyone was sayin "Yeah thats great... should be avaliable in the year 2005"

I was wondering.. is there ANY way to get one of theses upgrade kits from Europe and have it shipped to the US? Or will I have to pack my bags if I want one?

At least theres a "path" which is nice.

At the very least you would have to ship your E-Mag over to the UK. The X-Upgrade must be installed at the factory. They add the ACE, upgrade your software and add the body. IIRC, I don't think they make any guaruntees that the Anno will match your existing gun either, but I could be wrong about that.

      ACE... blahh.. lvlX..

hmm.. don't know about shipping my gun out that far. Would like to just slap it together like a ULE.

      ::shrugs::

Maybe I can wait 20 years until it comes to the U.S, lol

Actually I called them recently and the kits are available. You don't have to have the ACE installed (My level 10 works fine)and they can ship them right away. I intend to purchase one soon.

          MUST BUY ONE!

(Heh, wish I had the money for that and an X-Valve, but that would take me just as long to get as it would the kit to get to the US. )

Well holy crap! That's IN the US?!?! If I call AGD US they can ship me an XMAG upgrade?

            How much?!?

Or is that AGD Europe? If so.. how much is that in dollars and can they just take a CC?

I guess it's just a preference at this point. Lighter weight and if you want the look of the ULE body or the Xmag. I have the newest E-mag, so only difference is the ACE and body. AGD is really cool for at least thinking of giving us an upgrade path. Most companies just say "screw ya, buy a new one."

AGD US is not doing upgrades right now because all the bodies they get from Europe are used to build new xmags.

And if you do the conversion from british pounds to dollars it's like $550 for a single color C&C body and one feed module. Plus $100 shipping. Hopefully they would at least include the ACE boards for that kind of money.

Hmm.. what was that sound? Oh yeah.. my bubble bursting, lol

Ah well. ULE looks like the better oftion if I want low rise and cocker threads, plus a lighter body. Just that old tube look..

Just an update to this because I was curious....

I talked to AGD-Europe it would be about $550 to get an un-annoed one shipped to me (air mail to a business address). It does come with all the ACE boards and software (easy if you have a programmer ). You'll need the ULE frame to be able to install one of the ACE boards (yes it's 2 boards).

I figure a complete used ULE emag would go for ~900 so converting to a Xmag and selling off the ULE rail & body would not be to bad compared to selling the emag and buying a xmag.

Getting everything annoed to match would probably put you over the cost of a new Xmag, but then you'd be more unique.

                  FWIW

Edit: A non-cnc body is about $200 less!!!

                    Thanks for the good info!

I figure.. blahh... who needs it? lol. Maybe I'll just use my E-mag like it is for awhile and build up my arms, then the Xmag will be a feather when I pick it up, hehe

What is the actual weight differance between a Emag and a Xmag??
