    retro valve problem

got a slight problem here. i just replaced all the O rings in the valve and now the thing shoots full auto all the time. there is no sweet spot and it is impossible to fire only one round. any clue to what this could be?????

    sear worn out?
    bolt damaged/worn?
    trigger rod not set?
    on/off pin too short?

      -the sear appears fine
-the bolt is only a couple months old
-not sure about the trigger rod (but have adjusted it but with no change)
-the on off pin is fine.

the gun worked great until i changed the o rings. las time i changed them i had no problems, it ran great. but now.....i have no idea

Well, this moght seem like a silly question, but if it worked fine, why did you change the O-rings?

The apparent answer to your initial question is that you must have either installed the O-rings improperly, or used inferior or the wrong O-rings. You may have also re-assembled the valve improperly.

i was told to replace the o ring about every 3 to 4 months. so i did. i have noticed that after a few months the sweet spot gets smaller and smaller until it disappears. i replaced one o ring at a time using AGD RT vlave kit. would there be a specific o ring i should check? its got me puzzled, as well as the local paintball shop

i think i may have been a dumbass. i just went over the valve again and i forgot the o ring that goes on top of the reg seat holder. i'll have to fill up my tank again to see if that was it, but i'm sure it was.
