    On/Off question?

hey everyone.. while I am in the process of picking up a new cradle, I had a question about on/offs... I had an old coiled remote from back when I used to run my tank off gun (back in my spyder days).. Would it be possible to remove the on/off from the line, screw the hoses from my gas-thru-forgrip to that and attach it to the cradle (it will fit) without any negative effects from using N2 on it?

if you are talking about a slide check, then yes, that is a common way to degas a gun.

but if you are running a screw in tank, it is not needed since you have to unscrew the tank to degass anyway.

Well, no.. The slide check is on one end of the coiled remote... on the other end, its a screw in tank adapter with an on/off knob. I'm wondering if I can pull that end off and use that as my on/off with my hpa tank, if i rerun some hoses to it...

technically yes, that would work.......but how are you going to attach it to the gun? there are no mounts for that.

yup, no reason that wont work then. as long as you can clamp on to it(or the tank) with the DZ, then the bottle adapter will do the job of an on/off.
