Why the RT valve is so good?

hey i was wandering, what is it that makes the RT valve supposedly have no shoot down at a ROF of 23bps. and what kinda air system did AGD use to run the gun at that speed w/ no shootdown?

i don't wanna hear, just because, like really what makes it so great? and why isn't it used much? like the system into inline regs. air systems....

    thanks

    Man...Talk about newb, No offense

The rt can shoot that fast because of it's good reative trigger ability. It doesn't matter what hpa tank you use as long as it's a high quality adjustible one.

The RT isn't used much because it isn't an autococker or angel or impulse, etc

      um, better response

the way the RT works is its a snap shut regulator.

most paintball regulators regulate up to a set pressure, they increase from 0 until the pressure is where it should be

the RT on the other hand regulates down,

the air enters the chamber where it was running at 800psi, fills the chamber and snaps the regulator shut cutting off the air when it hits 400psi (or whatever its set at, its all internal). With this design, the RT charges so fast it actually heats up the air in the chamber causing the pressure to spike or "shoot up".

A side effect of this is the reactiveness of the trigger, the on off pin (part of the valve) is pressed against the chamber pressure when pulling the trigger (400psi but on a very small area) and after the trigger is pulled, the tank pressure is now pusing on it (800psi) and it kicks back with more force than it took to pull it.

THATS why the RT is so cool

        yeah thats right

every onbe says that the RT can cycle with out any shoot down at 23bps. well it doesn't matter how the trigger works, i'm talking about what booyah said, thatnks booyah for the info and footemp, bro ya have no idea...

But HOW does it do that? I understand how a standard pressure regulator works, but can't seem to figure out how they did that. Guess that's why they are where they are and I'm here.
