    my triggerguard..

so anyways.. the guy that i bought my mag from made a trigger guard/drop out of what looks like brass. I just got a new drop for it and now i'm stuck with this brass colored trigger guard. it's a pretty heavy metal but i can't tell if its another metal underneath or what.. I should pull it off .. Can I paint that? Think it can be polished if its not brass?

here is a pic if you can see..

that actually looks pretty cool........alot better than not having a trigger guard at all (like most people) If you are really concerned with the looks, paint it.

I think I'm worried more about the aesthetics about it.. The more I think about it though, it looks like I may switch over to an Intelliframe w/ a Blade trigger anyways.... I'm getting the body polished soon so I figure I'll get a frame that matches.. I can't decide if I want to keep the wood Hogue grips or dye some stickies green (or find green stickies).. I'm never actually used them - are they that good? The trigger guard looks good now w/ the drop that matches but the drop is being switched out with a longer Kapp II that matches the rail..

are you asking if the stickies are good or the intelliframe?

stickies are nice. just basic grips if you ask me.

the intelliframe is very nice. light, short, snappy trigger pull. even lighter if you have an LX bolt on there. has a very nice natural feel to it too.

Nice. I've heard people *****/complain about the wood grips and I've never had a problem with them.. As for the Intelliframe, that'll be next in addition to an X-Valve.. I was going to go with a ReTro/lx anyways so I'll just do both.
