    can powdercoating damage body?

i want to get my mainbody powdercoated, and I have a guy in my town that can do it. I was wondering if he, not being a paintball player could mess it up? the inside of the body? Is there any way the gun wouldn't work right afterwards? Would thre be something a paintball player would do differently?

    Thanx

Mags function on very tight tolerances, so, in a way, it could be messed up... if he gets a ton of goop on the underside of the body, it could affect the tolerances. Its not too big of a deal, if its done right. Usually, when someone powdercoats a mag body, they mask off the holes leading to the inside, at least those that know what they are doing do that.

If you trust the guys work, they sure, go for it. You could always get a guarenteed job...I'm getting a mag body powdercoated right now from KP Customs...very very good pricing.
