Someone touched on a good point... about half the cocker owners not being able to time their own guns.

What the hell is up with that!??!

I was at a NEW local shop and was hanging out checking stuff out.. all the kids look up to the owner and Oooh and Aaaww over his gear and wanna be just like him. so.. they all shoot autocockers.. in the half hour I was there I saw 2 kids and 1 adult walk in with their autocockers, wait in line, and when the owner would grab their attention and ask what they wanted their reply was: "ooh, umm, yeah... could you please time my gun? thanks."

So I watched as the owners went through a series of holding the bolt open, push on it.. turn the knob, hold the bolt open, adjust.. push on it.. etc... and then hand it back to them. LOL

Good god.. at least learn your own damn gun. But then again I guess parts bin guns don't come with manuals or videos..

I love it, whenever one person says anything remotly bad about mags, it seems like the whole world rains down on them.

I like to read those threads because of some of the over the top newb things that get said. I also like that there are 'mag and non 'mag shooteres that take the time and effort to set the record straight time and time again.
