Cold weather approaches quickly and i have nothign to protect my Mag fromt he cold, so, what would you guys reccomend, what would do the most to keep liquid CO2 out of my baby (whom i named Denise for those who care ^_^) would a reg work better than a 6-stage x-chamber? im jsut wondering, i cant recall where i heard that a rg would work better, and i was jsut wondering if it was true. thanks.

Id say the X Chamber would be better, a Reg just regulates the input pressure DOWN, in other words, for example, you put 800PSI into the regulator, it regulates it down to 600PSI. an Expansion Chamber is designed to allow liquid CO2 enter the X CHamber and the wampth from your hand converts it into gas before going into the gun. in cold weather with CO2 and a Reg, youd just be starving your gun.

i would have to disagree palmer stabs and stock cocker regs work much better than any x-chamber i have used at keeping co2 out of the valve(thay are much more expencive than x-chambers though). I dont have any proof but in my experiences regs are the best try to get a used stock cocker reg and you wont be dissappointed.
edit: oh yea and about starving the valve that isnt true just turn your stab up and the cocker reg is high flowing enough to not cause shootdown or starving.-Minimag Body HR
