    One Pull - Two Shots?

    Hey,

I have a classic mag, completely stock as far as I know (got it used). For some reason, when I pull the trigger, i get two shots. When i pull the trigger back, it fires, then when i let the trigger go, it fires again. I havnt tried it will balls, but im sure it wont work nicely, and all I know is for some reason when i pull the trigger once, i get the bolt moving back and forth twice.

try replacing your sear ($7) and bolt spring (~$3 i think), both could be worn from use, causing them not to catch as effectively as they should. if this doesn't work, check the o-rings on your on/off assembly, and try replacing them with the two inactive spares in the bottom of the on/off. refer to your manual if you don't know what i'm talking about, and feel free to PM me w/ questions if you need more help.

It is either the on/off or try turning the velocity up.

yup, sounds like an autoresponse trigger; which replaces the trigger rod with a hinged arm and spring designed to toggle the sear when the trigger is pulled, and again when its released. Pretty rare. Almost never tournement-legal, but they can generate truely impressive rates of fire. Check to see if you have an ajustable stop that will allow you to shorten the trigger pull and only allow the marker to fire once per pull -- adjusting this would allow you to switch back and forth between autoresponce and normal shooting.

I got my AutoReponce in 94 from a tourny player because they had just been banned. If there is a trigger stop on it then it is modified, but does make a very short 1 shot pull trigger(yet kinda heavy pull)
-- Homocidal no they dont make them inymore, I belive they stoped around 95 since they had been baned at most fields and all tournys . If your truly intrested in geeting one PM me mine is just siting in my parts box

woops, forgot i made this thread. anyways -- i fixed the gun that same night, it was something screwy goin on in the on/off. I replaced that and that fixed the problem right up. Now she's shooting like a dream -- time to sell her! Thanks for everyone's input.
