Sear may have loosened up also, mine did the same thing a few times and that is what it was, try adjusting the sear so that it raises up a little more.
or as said before it can be trigger bounce, I liked the trigger bounce on mine but I was playing tourneys.

You may need to charge the frame. Mine does it too when the battery is low. Also, are you using the striker that came with the frame?

Try charging it again. Just like with a normal spyder when it runs out of air, it'll shoot several. Your battery might not be powerful enough to kepp the sear in place.

Check your striker o-ring and make sure it's not damaged. It's the only thing that has ever caused my Spyders to double-fire.

What's your exact setup, including air source?

That's not an anti-siphon tank, is it? CO2 is always tricky. Are there any constants you can think of? Some of the things you might want to note is the outside temperature, if you have a fresh fill, any leaks, etc.

Without having the marker in hand, I'm still pretty certain it's your striker o-ring. I doubt it's your battery because when mine start running dry, I sometimes miss shots because there is not enough juice to trip the sear.

We always play when its nice out, so I doubt its the weather (Around 50-60). No anti-siphon in the tank..hrm...i just checked the striker and the o-ring looks fine..

The same thing seems to happening to me, I'll be in the middle of rapid fire and it will shoot twice when I pull the trigger once. I can tell because the phenomenon occurs for a while after I stop shooting fast.
Might I add, my trigger is set up so it is touching the actual switch, if that has anything to do with it.
