    Is X-Valve adjustable?

Is the RT feature of X-Valve adjustable?
Responsive triggers are forbidden in our local tournaments so can i switch RT off or adjust it somehow to be less responsive?

I'm using PMI PureEnergy hpa tank which has about 800-900 psi output pressure in 68Automag.

    Thanx.

Only way to do it is to get an adjustable tank. It allows you to vary the input pressure. That's what controls the reactivity.

Now on to the question- Why are they banned? A properly tuned RT will not go full auto or runaway. It's only the modified ones that do that, and it's easy to check.

Never ceases to amaze me how the rt takes so much crap at various tournies... simply because people don't understand how it works... and go off of myths. But then sub-gram electros are ok... sheesh!

I agree. It's one ball per pull. Not one on pull and one on release. It's not bouncy- W.A.S. type of stuff. It's totally legal. All they did was give it MORE kick than the classic. If you look at how a classic works, they work the EXACT same way except for the amount of pressure exerted on the on/off pin head.

Ah well. The ignorant stay ignorant sometimes.

I think Tom was working on an On/Off pin with a smaller 'head' on it that would reduce the reactivity. That was in response to the recent NPPL rule change. Do a search and you should be able to find the info you need.
