well heres the scoop i've had 3 of these bad boys and had problems with them all but i got all bugs worked out and i think i can lay out how to prevent them from breakin
1)First disasemble your loader then seperate the raceway from the servo and shell then take and clean the race way really good with rubbing alchoal then put a small small bead of super glue ( i use loctite ) all the way around the the egde of one side then place the sides togheter wait for them to dry then run a small thin layer over the seam and let dry
then your race way is ready ( only draw back to this is that you will have to remove your impeller from the servo for re-installation) other than that it makes your eggo alot stonger.
2)on sanding the necks take and start form the bottom up so that you will create a taper and it will fit tighter twords the top.
3)and cutting neck i alway take and place the loader in the neck then take a bic pen or permenent maker and go around the outside of the eggo then measure up to the line and subtract an 1/8 of an inch then mesure from the top line of the feed neck and mark a line all the way around. i recomend cutting on the outside of the line then sanding it flat. make things easy.
4)and then of course if your intrested in dying shells all you need is the rit dye and just follow the instructions
( one hint let the color get very dark becasue when you wash it out it will turn quite a bit lighter.)
5)if you had have lids break what i recomend to due is place a rubber band around the loader where it snaps back into place and it will help to prevent breaking lids
6)battery covers i have never had trouble with so i have no help there
7)the battery spacer i have noticed on 1 of my loaders is to large and i have a lot of trouble getting it out so i took a cardboard box and cut it the same size as the spacer and it works great.
