    Safety in HPA reg-cyl.

I had a terrible experience when i was filling a HPA bottle with a Bulldog II regulator. The bottle and the regulator are 4.5k rated! I am using a Bauer Junior II compressor.
When the compressor's big gauge was at 4200 psi the high pressure burst disk was blow off. It is rated at 5K.

I am wondering if that is normal and how precise are that small safety pieces!!!

Why in some regulators rated for 4.5K the high pressure burst disk is 7K? Do i have to replace the 5K disk with a 7K?

I would check with the manufacturer just in case, but I bet they put the wrong burst disc in there. All 4.5K tanks should have 7K burst discs in them.

thank you Xen. All the Bulldog II regulators i have in my field are with a 5K safety disk.
Now i am afraid of filling higher than 3.5K
