lvl 10 / ReTro valve problems

OK. Im using my level 10 on .5 carrier, 2 shims, medium spring

Every time I try the medium spring I gas it up. The pin pops out, but when I pull the trigger it wont fire. SO I fugure big deal turn the velocity up a tad. I try turning it up to figure out my wrench goes all the way into the valve. I figure I should just turn the adjusting thing. Except it still wont fire. And this was @ 900psi input

Sounds like the carrier is too tight. You might want to move up half a size and give that a shot. Is this the initial setup?

Try the small spring. With the .5 carrier it should be pretty light on paint. I am running the .5 and the short spring in my E-mag. The Lvl 10 balances forces. The spring and the carrier tightness VS. the air pressure behind the bolt. If the spring and carrier are too strong for the air (not tank pressure, but pressure from the velocity adjuster) then no matter what the gun won't fire. Try the smaller spring. You should only have to turn the velocity adjust nut up to get it to work. You shouldn't have to screw the velocity adjuster all the way in.

thanks. Im just wondering is it normal for the wrench to be able to go all the way into the springs in the regs? (im guessing it the springs since the wrench comes out all greasy
