    On/off valve question

I just got a used minimag and when I took it apart, I noticed that the on/off top(brass piece) is different from the one in my p/f automag. The one in the mini looks like the one in the Level 7 manual while the one in my mag has a "+" milled in the top. At first I though one of them must be an aftermarket part, but then I noticed that the laser etching on the valves matches the on/off part, what I mean is that the etching on the mag looks like the top in the mag while the etching on the mini is different and matches the on/off top in the mini. Is there a performance issue with one design? Should I replace the "+" style with the style that is in the mini? Thanks in advance for the help.

    prolly older

it is more than likely just a older level seven and over time tehy have slightly upgraded several parts, i noticed this to with my minimag #mm12070 and my 68mag which is like 3 months old cf62188. i talked to the tech at agd and tehy just said over time they have just "upgraded" or changed some parts a little. that is all
