How do you guys clean your marker and accessories?

I was wondering what you guys use to keep your mag all polished and nice? I just use like paper towels and q-tips...

I was also wondering how you can polish your mag and stuff without using harmful chemicals or anything. Just like a method of doing it with something that's not very strong?

I use cotton tipped applicators. You can probably get them from a lab supply or medical supply place.

They are like a Q-tip, but only one end on a 6" wooden stick. They let you clean inside the body a little better if you have gunk in there.

I use them if I made a mess inside the body. Otherwise, I just use paper towels.

Everthing, except electronics and batteries, gets washed in the sink with hot soapy water. By using hot water, the water evaporates quickly. Q-Tips and an old toothbrush get into the nooks & cranies.

But seriously, I use paper towls, Q-tips, and cloth diapers (never been used). If I chop a ball I take the valve out when I get home and run water throug the body and then dry it.

I clean and oil mine much like Private Pyle in Full metal jacket.

It gets dismantled and everything washed under the sink.

I go the carwash and hold my E-Mag out the moonroof of my car.

Honestly, i just use cloth diapers, terry cloth towels and the long medical q-tips like thordic mentioned. Oil the appropriate parts and away she goes in my Redz bag ready for more action....

pull the valve out and stick a hose in the back of the gun, and run a straight shot through it a couple of times. the bolt and spring get cleaned with the hose and paper towel. anything else that needs it gets wiped down and or washed with the hose.

                    This is what I do..

I strip it down and run hot hot water over the main body and trigger frame, paint just comes right off with hot water. Also if it is grimy i use some methal hydrate and q-tips/paper towels.. I don't soak it but as long as there are no Orings you should be ok.

I just take my dads air compresser and blow the paint and stuff outa the small spots, then I use paper towels for the rest of the gun. When the compresser isnt around Gadget68 and I use the scuba tank fill station:)

DO NOT PUT THEM IN THE DISHWASHER AS I DID!

i think i made my point, the dishwasher with out soap still took the annodising of my splash kit, just by the pure over boiling steam, it was ugly and i have been conteplating sending all my stuff out to get it all annoed to match, quite expensive.. a little over 300 dollars for the pattern

if it was a good day(no chops, breaks) then i just use paper towels and wipe everything down. If there is some paint on the bolt and stuff then i will use q-tips or something like that. Damp-paper towel when i want things shiney
