How much pressure can a macroline handle?

I have an AirAmerica Apoc. that is adjustable from 200-1200 psi. that I just sent into have service because it blew a piece of Macro line. I can't be sure of what the actual pressure rating is, but I won't run anything over about 1000 PSI again.
    My feedback.

It really depends on the macroline. The Parker stuff can handle pretty high pressure, but I've seen some with working pressures of 4-500psi.

Some stuff I bought at Skyball is rated at 800WP and a burst of 1600PSI. But I got some cheap stuff from a parker dealer that only handles 400-500. And some high quality parker stuff that ran 900PSI no problem. So it all depends on what brand and quality.

maybe this should be its own thread, but ...

... when you've had a macro line "burst" in the past where exactly did it fail? (this question is directed toward anyone)

Mine burst twice in the same day around the top about an inch or less from entering the fitting.

Kevmaster tested the Parker to 1400 before the fitting blew.

i think it depends on thickness of the plastic. i have have heard standard macro is 850psi and micro is 1000psi.

i don't know about the fittings.
