Hi, I recently got myself a used AA Armageddon Sleeve and valve.
The Valve threads have a hole, I'm guessing this is a safety feature to vent out air if someone tries to unscrew the bottle when still pressurised...
It was obvious the previous owner used thread-lock, and alot of it was pushed into the 'release hole' when the bottle was put on.
This pretty much fixed the valve spring in place. Which isn't a good Idea and is prevents the valve spring / pin from freely moving like it should.
My question is, with a 4500psi bottle, should I be using thread-lock at the risk of fixing the valve spring in place, or trust that the bottle o-ring is enough?
Any suggestions as to how I should fit the bottle would be great.
