    Problems...E-mag

Hello I bought a used E-mag micro 2000. It does not work correctly in any mode. In Manual I can feel the pressure on the trigger, but when I press it I here a faint hissing noise, that stops if I keep holding it. The bolt does not move at all.

It has Level 10, and I have tried using carriers (1, 1.5,2,2.5) 1.5 is perfect (largest with no leaks down barrel). I have tried using none, 1 and 2 shims.

I have also maxed out the velocity until the nut stops turning. (Note it never leaks out of the back...).

What can I do? Should I just send it to AGD or PTP? And if so which one of the two? I have used 4 tanks of air trying to fix this and have undone the fieldstrip screw so many times that my fingers hurt...

I can service it for you if you'd like. I usually have a quicker turn around time than AGD. I've serviced about half a dozen E-Mags in last month for guys here on AO and everyone has been so far happy.

Micro E-Mags seem to be a bit tempermental. I tuned up cphilip's Micro-E and it hasn't skipped a beat since.

PM me if you would like for me to service it for you.

I agree... send it to Black. These things have to be pretty much reset to spec that they like and are often not realy near them when you get them. They need to be gone over completely to get them right. Once they are they are super. And stay. DO NOT send em to PTP. Let BlackVCG go over it and it will ROCK. He is good on them. I personaly would send em to no other. He will fix it up and it will be better than new

AGD, where we are so good we can do it with only ONE tube!

Hey Black I sent you a PM.

Would any of you have any Idea why the velocity nut never really gets to the point where it starts to leak. Could that be my problem.
