Yes. but I would not reccomend it. A low pressrue stabilizer.. MAYBe. But you're honestly best off sticking with the maxflow.

vert mount would be another story. mouting it off the front or back of the gun is easy. If you're smart you WILL NOT use a torpedo or genx-2 reg.

There are regs that are designed to work really well at low pressure. Sidewinder, Vigilante, 250psi Stabilizer.....

yes i know ....... i was thinking about getting a gladiator or sidewinder........but i want to vert mount it......i need some help.......i thought of putting a vert asa adapter (like you would use on a mini cocker) into the same hole the gadget grip goes on the shocker but i got wind that they are not the same thread (air is 1/27 and the normal threading of a gadget grip is 1/28 or vise versa).....

Can't do it that way. the gadet foregrip doesn't lead anywehre but the solinoid tray. You need to get the air to the front or back of thegun into one of the 1/8npt ports.

The gadget grip is the same as the mag... just a hole and it's screwed into from above. IIRC....

i know the hole doesnt lead anywhere.......the asa adapter i have is tapped for a guage...so i can just run a macro line from it to the 1/8npt port on the front of the shocker...

I have been wanting to do a retrofit like this for a while now, but with a vert MaxFlo.

PM me, and we can discuss the details. The process goes right along the lines you are thinking, just takes a little milling work to be feasable.

                  I can help you.

                  Thanks for your time.

hey xen....how about you think about something before you say it........vert maxflo adapters for shockers are for converting the inline maxflo that comes stock on shockers....not threaded regs. plus who wants to spend 150 on a vert maxflo? not i!

I never said anything about price. you can get vert maxflo for $109. you can get vert adapters for shockers that will allow any reg to be put on it. I have seem them. so why dont you think before you flame and look stupid!

hmmm........after a few days of searching for them i have yet to find one.......maybe that is why im posting about it.....also im not trying to "flame" anyone.....also..last time i checked on smart parts site for their maxflos they were like 150 ......... maybe they went down..... but i have a reg right now and dont wanna buy another........ the only vert reg adapters ive seen for shockers are the ones that convert your stock inline maxflo into a vert setup.
