X-Valve on a 68Automag?

I was wondering if using the X-valve on a 68 Automag Classic was possible. If "yes", then has anyone observed any negative side affects with it?

1st, Welcome to AO. You will like it here, as most people do!

To answer your question,
Yes you can. Only side effects, are that you shoot more paint (in some cases) and your ROF increases. Make sure you only run HPA through the marker, because X-valves and Retro-Valves do not like C02 at all.

Yea the X-Valve will work very well on the mag, and I'm gettin one as soon as I'm out of debt, but I think Ill get a Flatline 1st

Yeah I did the Go X-valve program and got one for my gun and it rips a whole lot more than with the regular automag valve.

Thanks for all your assurances so far ... and thanks for anymore to come. I've been thinking about upgrading w/ the Go X-valve program and I'm pretty much convinced. Now I have to convince my better half

Im not sure what the valve is capped at, but im sure you wouldnt be able to shoot that fast anyhow. My guess is that you will be able to shoot as fast as you can pull the trigger. Jack & Coke did a study w/o paint and got his X to shoot in full auto. I dont really remember what he typed up and I dont want to start rumors about him, so either pm him or find the post. Sorry I cant help ya there.

if youre usuing a mech frame... i dont think you ll need to shoot THAT fast

rt is capped at bout... 26 bps w/o shootdown i believe....

but if you cant shoot fast (which is super HARD ON MAGS!) an xvalve wont be much diff.

i had a 68 mag then i put intelifame, x-valve, and a warp body on it. when adjusted right w/ level 10 it can shoot paint at about 18 bps!!!.

before i had the warp-body i had powerfeed body. i broght the hose up from the warp, under the barrel, then w/ a 90 degree connector attatchedit to the bottom of the power feed. the problem w/ that was that it fell off alot(i play front). It also was a bit slower around(16bps). Now w/ the warp body it seems to feed faster but some times it will skip a ball because it doesnt have as long of a stack of balls as w/the other set up. also 18bps is the best i can get it to go so far.( it seems to sweet spot the easeist right after i gas it up) It also depended on my warps battery.
