No More Carriers

i am down to the 0 carrier and no shims and i still have a barrel leak, when i press lightly on the trigger, it stops. now what? i have no where else to go!!

Doesn't sound like a carrier leak, but rather a vent leak. Try putting a new sear in. That would help hold the bolt farther back than a sear that had some wear.

Try a new oring and start over.

no shims at all, can't be a sear problem, the gun is only a week and a half old. it is brand new

if i add shims, i get a massive barrel leak. i guess ill try starting over with a new o-ring

that worked for mine. I was all the way down to a .5 carrier, changed the oring and went back up to a 1.. works for me. (no shims)

We did it this weekend at Megameet.

so i started over with a new o-ring. got to the 1.0 carrier with no leak. i just received a new armson stealth because my other one had to be replaced. i put on the new barrel and the bolt only goes out about half way out into the barrel and just resets itself. its like doing the squigee test with no squigee. what do i do now?? any suggestions??

setup: BRAND NEW minimag, 1.0 carrier, no shims, medium spring, 800 psi preset

Try dry firing without the barrel on the gun.

i do that and it shoots fine

Is your barrel small bore? I hear that the LX doesnt fit into small bore barrels. that might be the prob if it shoots fine without the barrel and wont shoot with it on.

Yeah, I'd check the barrel inside diameter. Check that the barrel is tight in the body. A loose barrel can sit in the body slightly off center which will simulate the conditions of a barrel that is too small.
