    On/off Leaking

i run a 2003 smart parts impulse with vert max-flo marcolined to a generic on/off. When i tested my gun last week with about 1500 psi in my tank i noticed 2 problems. The first was that my bolt was upside down in my gun causing air to be restricted in the gun because hte inlet hole is upwards instead of downwards. The second was taht air was leaking out of where u screw in the on/off knob when the knob was screwed in all the way in the "on" position. My theory is that the air was backed up in the gun pushing the air out of the first place it could get out, behind the knob. Also, right before I gassed up my gun i had a guy from my pro shop tell me to take off the black oring on my gun because they werent good for tanks and put teh clearish ones on. I put one on right before i gassed my gun up, there appeared to be nothing wrong with the o-ring at all and it was properly on. I also have a 68/45 PE hydro 4/02.

The upside down bolt is no big deal. Cocker shooters do it all the time. You might have to lube the O-rings for the screw in ON/OFF. There would be no build up of pressure from the bolt. The tank is regulated down to 850 and unless the reg. is shot it won't put out more than that.
