You need to get yourself a video for the AIR valve. It talks about how mags work. Most of it isn't right for an RT, but it can't hurt.
Basically, RTs and AIR valves have an on/off switch that cuts the gun in half when it is pressed. This is to make sure that all of the air in the power tube stays up in the front of the gun, and vice versa (no extra air gets from the back to the front). This is for concistancy. That's why when you shoot a mag at the crony, you see +-5 ALL the time.
Anyway, by holding the trigger down, we can narrow the problem down. We can say for sure it is the back of your valve if it still happens when you gas it up. It probably will too.
For a good ballpark velocity setting, unscrew you velocity adjustment until it is free of the spring pack (it should turn without any resistance), then screw in the vel. adjuster will you feel it hit the spring pack (start to feel a little resistance), then go about another half turn. See if she leaks then. Chances are, this should not be enough pressure to cycle the gun, you'll need to screw it in more probably.
Most of the time, when you get air out the back, that adjuster is too far in.Comment

the last thing you mentioned, recocking it your self, that would be due to a pt spacer, i cant recall the direction in length you needt to go, but bolt stick is what you are having.AO #765

Try putting about 5 drops of oil in the hose that connects to your tank or where you connect your tank to and fire about 20 shots. See if leaking stops. Ive seen this many times on my mag and this fixes it for me.StEEl Grey SoNiC Cocker. The ownage Machine

You need to put in a shorter PT spacer, or replace your PT o-ring. Also, put oil in your ASA or in the banjo bolt and then gas it up.Comment
