I have probably the same crossfire tank. I had more of a problem with length than weight. I had problems using my gas thru foregrip and a long drop forward. I ended up ditching the grip and kept the tank. I think its great to be able to go through most of a case without refilling. There are the occasional comments about the blimp following my gun though. Of course they miss the next game to go to the filling station. Ha Ha

I used a CP flame drop and a benchmark tank adapter because I liked the way it looked. a Kapp extender would look if you can have the grip a little farther forward. The problem I had is long drops like the Psycho Ballistics didn't drop fast enough to clear my foregrip with a macroline on the bottom. If you have a classic I would run a line right from the reg with a quick disconnect and a small foregrip. I like on gun setups vs. remote because I like packs like my reds 4 across or the jt pack. I don't mind holding up the gun. I have played for 7-8 hours straight and was not tired. I hope this helps. A DZ2 would have fit but I didn't have a tank adapter and I like to take my tank off the gun to be refilled.

When I can get it filled to 3000psi I get around 1200-1500 out of it.

                    About your pic

How did you get your inlet hole on the other side of the valve it is very interesting. did you just drill a hole in your valve or did you have it specaially made

There were a few, I don't know how many, minis made with the inlet on the left and I happen to have one. I like to say it was specially made for me but that is not the case. I have not seen another one though. Maybe someone knows the story behind this.
