There has to be an answer

Ok my gun is still leaking down the barrel. I have a new Retro valve in which I've replaced all the new orings with newer ones, and it still leaks. I installed a rail bushing and it still leaks. So my question is what is wrong with my paintgun?

What size power tube spacer do you have in it? Try a shorter one.

Like Russ said, it's probably the power tube spacer. Try a shorter one.

If that doesn't work, your sear may be adjusted wrong. But be careful with that adjustment.

I've tried everything including the shortest spacer. I'm at a loss. Maybe AGD is my next move.

Pb, you seem to be starting off on the wrong foot. I have read a few of your posts. All of the ones I have read contain some remark made about another poster's intelligence. You could stop of your own accord, or a moderator will make you stop. Thanks

Are you using a preset tank that you screw in? If so you need to get a burst of instant PSI to your valve to set it. This happened to me and I ended up buying a "Staubli Pro Connect". I hope this helps you out.

gadget68 could be right, try gassing up the gun with the trigger held down, it may help. also if the sear is old, then it may be worn and not grab the bolt right, or if the trigger rod was adjusted at any point make sure that when the gun is gassed up there is a gap (about the thickness of a piece of paper at least) between the back of the trigger and the end of the trigger rod. if thy touch then you may need to screw the rod back in a bit.

On my Kid's Retro w/88/4500 PMI preset, he has to hold the trigger and fire around 10-15 shots before the sucker catches and stops leaking. Happens every time, then it's fine all day.
