    Very Stiff Emag trigger.

    Hi,
I was going to shoot my emag last night to make sure it was all good to go for team practice today. Well I gas it up and the trigger is super tough to pull. Shooting a 9mm pistol is easier (i am serious). Now I dont know why it is doing this. The gun was working good at our last tournament and had been cleaned and taken apart after use. The trigger pull is so hard that the solenoid doesn't have the power to pull the sear down. Any suggestion? Thanks

Did you have it in Hybrid/Manual or in E?

My guess is that the battery is worn down and needs charging.

I tried it in all 3 modes. Even when E is off, the trigger is extremely difficult to pull. A stock mag would be easier. Now I did notice that the little c-clip that is supposed to be on my solenoid plunger is missing, would that effect (affect...I cant think right now) it or hurt it? Thanks for the speedy responses guys.

Yes. That would affect it. Gotta get the C-Clamp.

I just wonder why it would do this now. The c-clip has never been on there since I got it and it worked fine until I pulled it apart. I probably tweaked something.

Take the valve apart and check the integrity of the regulator seat o-ring. If this o-ring has dirt in it or is not in place properly, the valve will overcharge and the trigger pull will be very hard.
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.

Try loosening the bolt that holds your valve to the body a little.

                Hey,
I'll give all these a try, but I am out of nitro right now. I might go get some by the end of the day. Thanks

                Andrew

forgot something...........do you think this would cause a little bit of bolt stick? it seemed as though it was sticking a little bit (even before this problem). I'll have my lvl10 parts kit soon, so i'll run through that stuff.

Bolt stick is almost always caused by too much friction between the bolt stem and the power tube o-ring. This can be either in the level 7 bolt or the level 10 bolt.

Shims/spacers usually fix this problem. The level 10 bolt also requires a lot of oil when breaking in the carrier o-ring in order to prevent bolt stick.

Will the marker fire in the manual mode?

                      Hi,
I didnt get the chance to try it out today, but yes it will fire in manual mode, it is just extremely stiff. I am going to toss a c-clip on it and hopefully that helps. I will also see how tossing some more oil through it helps. Thanks

I'll bet your solenoid plunger is bent. With the gun fully assembled, take off the left grip panel and reach in with an allen wrench and lift up on the arm that the solenoid plunger is attached to. If it's really stiff, like it's dragging on something. your plunger threaded rod is bent.

One of the reasons why they bend is because people don't take out the axle pin from the rail BEFORE they take off the rail. If you try to lift up on the rail with the sear still attached, it will bend the solenoid plunger. It's just the threaded rod that bends so you can tweak it back by hand so it's straight.

It should be able to move back and forth freely when it's in the gun. You should be able to push down on the back of the sear with the mainbody off and the gun sitting so it's pointing straight forward and the sear should drop back down.

Ok. It did look a little out of wack. Thanks

Good news. I straightened out the solenoid plunger rod, and got a chance to gas it up today. It shot like a champ. I only got to rip about 30 or 40 shots, but it wasn't leaking either. I will keep posted on whether or not it leaks bad when gassed up with a full tank *the tank had around 1k left in it*. Thanks for the help.
