    microleak

    Hi, I tried to gas up my automag today and every fitting with my lines leaked. last time I played I used master plumber teflon paste to fix some small leaks and I am wondering if that was bad. I put it on the line then stuck the line in the fitting. how can I fix this?

      take the lines out, clean them, and put a dab of grease on them.

      now try as best you can to clean out the fittings.

      teflon tape is for around the threads of fittings, nothing else.

        thread lock, loc tite, put it on your fingers,and just twist the fitting arond with the threads on your fingers, just don get any in the fitting. screw it in and it shuld be okay.

          No no no.

          Teflon tape = For Threads.

          Loctite = Almost permanate

          Your saying it leaks from the hose area? Use grease or buy a new fitting, the o-ring is most likely gone bad.

            I put the teflon paste ON the microline and the put the line in the fitting, it worked, but yesterday when I gassed it up, all 4 areas were leaking, where the hose goes in the fitting that is.
