Has anyone had their Mag powder coated?

I saw in the dealers forum that someone does powder coating. I was wondering if anyone has tried this and how well it holds up over time. It's considerably cheaper than anodizing and you can't ano stainless steel. Any thoughts ? Thanks Squirrel Bate.

I just powdercoated my classic mag black today. It holds up pretty good but still scratches from metal on metal. I didnt sand blast it though which lowers the quality of the bond. It looks pretty nice and gets me happy in my pants.

hey i do the coating in the dealers forums i do all mag bodys at 10.00 + shipping i also can do fades

lmk if your intrested i strip all parts and sandblast them before coating that way the powder gets into the metal holds much better lmk it will hold better then ano against scratching and you can also buff out scratches.

                    Powder Coating.

                    Standard colors are $10.00
Specialty colors are $15.00 ( Fluorescent colors )
                    Translucet colors are $20.00
                    Prisim Colors are $30.00
For a fade add $5.00 for the added color.

These prices are for mag body only and dose not inclued polishing for translucent colors. Translucent colors work best on polished bodys for the anodizing look.
