    Old automag RT problems...

My brother bought an old automag RT (not Pro) used last summer, and it had a leak out the back. The guy at the shop didn't know much about mags, but said that we should just reeplace all the o-rings in the valve and it should work. My brother did it, and it still leaked. Coincidentally, that shop closed down the week after he bought it, and he's had it in his room collecting dust ever since. I now want to get it fixed, but there are no AGD techs in my area, so where/how would I send the marker into AGD?
    Thanks,
    Will

If it's leaking out the back, turn the velocity down. (that screw hole is the adjuster). Use a 1/8 inch allen key and turn counter clockwise. (Hold the trigger down to stop the ait flow. Makes it easier on you.)

Ok. We need you to tell us where EXACTLY it's leaking from.

Either right under the body, or the set screws in the back.

sometimes the screw on the back dont let the valve properly seat, in most other mags this isnt a crutial problem but due to the fact the air passes through the body to the valve in a classic Rt I would look at the tightness of the valve screw after inspecting the mating surface of the valve and the body.

If that is what is up you just may have had a cronicaly misaligned valve body alignment and just have to ensure your properly aligned up and the orings are all spiffy
