Boomstick with a left feed e-mag?

I've heard such things as certain barrels not properly aligning with the feed of the different automag/e-mag bodies. And I was wondering is this true and does it concern boomsticks? I have heard that it is that way with some barrels excluding the boomy...any thoughts? Thanks
