    Emag/Level 10 Problems (PLEASE HELP)

    SPECS ON EMAG

    - LX installed with 1.5 carrier (largest without leaks) and 2 shims.
    - I've tried all the springs and no luck.
    - I'm Using a 3000psi flatline at about 800.
    - Chrono is at 290.

Here is my problem. Please help.

The emag shoots ok when firing slow, but when I want to really let it go, it will not fire, or keep up with my trigger finger. I have to hold back from pulling the trigger for a shot or two, and then continue, at which time 2-3 balls will plop out of my barrel about 10 feet. It's like I'm too fast for the bolt or something (Which is impossible). I have to continue firing like 1 bps if I want to shoot continuosly. I can't even put it onto 6 shots, nevertheless 3 shots, on the programmed trigger frame. It does the same with or without paintballs, so I've ruled out the hopper. Please forgive me if I'm not using correct terms such as boltstick and shootdown, cause I'm not sure what they are exactly, all I know is that I want to be able to keep up with the other markers on the field. My buddy is outshooting me with his Spyder. Thats just not right. What can I do?

what spring are you using? Have you tried using the middle (cut) spring and turning up the velocity so it shoots reliably? For instance on the small spring is there a point where when you turn up the velocity it fires normally?

It doesn't sound like a Level X problem. I'm thinking it's in the reg. seat, spring pack, valve area. I'm still learning there so I'll have to leave you to more knowledgeable AO'ers. When was the last time you ran some oil thru the ASA and into the internals? It might help, I'm interested to see what the problem is tho, Good luck

Sorry for beign uninformed but are you talking about the nitro tank, or is that a part on my emag? I'm going to go down to my local store and hook it up to another tank to see if thats the problem.

If not, what else could it be? Your not supposed to oil the springs are you? Ive olied every O ring and put a few drops in the air tube and dry shot it several times.

Reg seat is inbetween the valve assembly and reg assembly on the gun.

I was talking about parts in your reg.( the back half, the part w/ emag on it) on the emag, sorry about that. This link may be helpful also http://store.airgun.com/acb/showdetl...D=240&CATID=15 It is an exploded, even tho it says expoded , view that shows the Retro valve in pieces.(same as emag valve)

That might be it. Ive taken apart the entire gun except for that back piece. I will do it when I get home and let you all know. My emag should be able to fire as fast as I pull the trigger, right?

Yeah. The only exception I can think of is in electronic mode if you don't let the trigger return far enough and pull it again, it won't shoot.

I should shoot consistent when programmed to 3 and 6 shots on the trigger frame, right?

What maintenence should be done to the emag valve/regulator piece(back part of the gun). When I take it apart, what should I keep an eye out for. My emag is still not shooting the way it should. I am sooooo unhappy with it. AGD PLEASE HELP ME.
