Is this thing old or is it just me?

Still trying to install the microswitch on the intelliframe. The sear that I have looks different than the ones for sale on AGD website. The bottom has an extra eighth of an inch or so. Does it look old to you?http://store.airgun.com/acb/showdetl.cfm?&DID=17&Product_ID=246&CATID=6

      make do

Well, I did my own mod on it and shaved the bottom off with a belt sander. It is working well with the intelliframe. Is there any advantage to the newer design? It looks like the pivot point is a little lower, but that is about it.

you dont need to modify anything. I have one of those old sears on my blade intelli. I even intellied it with a micro switch. (the sear has nothing to so with that BTW, the bottom of the sear hits the switch.)

I worked on putting it together without shaving it for about 3 or four hours. I could get it to work without the valve, but when the valve went in the sear dropped down and held the micro switch on. I tried moving it all the way forward, all the way back..nothing worked. Now instead of having the long square end it has a nice short round end. No problems and I'm happy with it. If you didn't have any problems with yours I would have loved to have you show me what you did. It would have saved me many curse words and fits of rage.

did you try bending the switch arm? cause on mine, it just had a long lever that would depress the switch. I just bent that up a little so it barely hit the back of the sear as it came back. once the trigger was pulled the switch would turn on.

It wasn't a problem with the switch being too long or needing to be bent. It was a problem of the switch being constantly pressed down. If I tried to bend it up, it would still be hitting the sear. If I bent it down, it would still be depressed. I had a game yesterday and it worked out great. I may go ahead and get one of the new ones just to see if there is any difference. Time was not on my side when I had to make the decision to mod the other one. It was Friday afternoon when I finally got everything ready to install and I had a game Sat. morning.
