Pump mag with RT body

ok so i know i can use a minimag body for a pump mag but can i use an old school RT body with it? i like the look of it better is all. and yes I am willing and able to do minor modifacations. as long as it's not along the lines of "oh just cut the front off the RT body so it looks realy like a classic body and you will be fine."
