Level X question

To me, i sort if get the level x and think it is if not the, one of the greatest inventions in paintball for a long time. Anyways my question is why is there different settings for the level x? Im talking about the shims and carriers, and i dont really get that aspect of it. Thx

The carriers are there b/c of the inconsistency of the oring. It allows you to customize the friction that the oring will give, as well as the vent point (shims). Also, you can adjust how hard the bolt will move forward (spring).
