    E/X Mode Selection Positions?

I have a question on the mode positions: The 9 o'clock position is for mechanical/hybrid and the 6 o'clock position is for electronic. So what is the 3 o'clock position? My selector lever moves to the 3 o'clock position and still fires...

its nothing, its just excess travel in the switch. i wish it didn't tho, maybe theres a way to fix it?

on my teamamtes xmag, hit switchs like, kinda fixxes it self in the position, like theres a small part that sticks out to keep it in place.
wonder if emags have this or no? or if all emags do what the switch does (excess travel)

ok noticed you have a xmag.

If it fires in the 3 o'clock position, you just have it set really tight & the magnet's far enough toward the HES that it will still trigger the gun. If you're really concerned, you can play with the magnet in the trigger or the set screw on the selector.

Darn it, and I was hoping I had an "ultra secret" selection mode never before known to Magkind.

Thanks for the info, that is what I suspected.

This question has been asked 100 other times, but here's the answer.

It was intended to be a safety mode. They realized you can adjust the magnet too close that it will fire with the selector switch in the 3 o'clock position, so they put in the manual sear block as the safety.

You can use it as a nice short E-Mode and adjust your magnet to work within that range. You just don't have the adjustability of the overall stroke length as if it were in regular E-Mode.
