automag barrel vs others

Does the twist lock mag barrel make any different from other barrels?

my friend owns a
powerfeed hopper left
xvalve
etc
twist in big shot or freak

hes thinking of getting an ule body
but wants to know if going from twist designed to cocker barrel willl make a difference?

Twist lock comes off faster... and uses a nubbin instead of a detent. Cocker barrels are easier to come by. That's about it... otherwise, pretty much the same for the most part.
