hey i just got a used PTP micro emag in the mail? It shoots when just firing one shot or a few. but when it goes into rapid fire. It double feeds and some balls are even feed and roll out of the barrel. I'm using lvl 10 and i think that the lvl 10 is feeding it just enough to get past the dentent(which looks like it is working fine and then backing of. I'm also usin a halo B, i don't think it's the detent though.

What's your setup? Make sure that your using the largest carrier that doesn't leak and to oil it up. Also up the velocity since LX needs more pressure. Look here for more info. -
If the balls are rolling out the barrel and double-feeding, check or replace your detent. What paint and/or barrel are you shooting?Comment

i was shooting PMI premiums on a CP .689 1-piece barrel. They match pretty good, some slide through though out of a bunch. I turned up the velocity and it still double fead.Comment

1.5 carrier, 1 shim...the carrier was stuck in there pretty good i needed to get it out with the field stripping screw. Could this be the problem?Comment

ok it was a 1.0 carrier with 1 shim. Here is my postulation..tell me if you think it is right? After I took the 1.0 carrier out I tested it on the bolt and it was real tight fitting and would slide and stick speratically, not to metion it was really stuck in the hole where i had to pull it out. So I went one carrier up and I guess the oring on that was a little loser fitting and slided a bit easier. So my guess is in rapid mode sometimes the carrier would stick and the carrier would get stuck and wouldn't complete the cycle and the lvl 10 would kick in it would part feed recock and then double feed another ball. I need to gas up my tank and try this new carrier hope it works. Tell me what you guys think?Comment

As long as it doesn't leak, you should be fine. If not, go one size down till the leak goes away.Comment
