New x-valve, couple of shots then nothing, need help fast.

My x-valve is brand new and when aired up it still slightly leaks through the little hole on the left. No leak through the barrel. It will shot a few balls out, then nothing. Any suggestions?

Not very technical, but oil it and gas it up. Then when it stops shooting, whack the back of the valve hard with the palm of your hand. Let me know if this loosens it up.

If you can't get that hole on the left side to stop leaking, unscrew the two valve pieces, lift up the brass ring that's in the back section of the front valve half, and then pull out the o-ring that's under that. Now, stick a dental pick or something similar into the hole in the pin that's sticking out and pull that assembly out. You'll see two o-rings and a plastic spacer at the end. Yes, that spacer in the middle should have a crack in it. Put some oil on those o-rings and rub it in. Take a q-tip and clean out the hole that the pin assembly goes into and then push it back in and reassemble it in reverse order. That should get it to seal up and with some use, the o-rings will break in and it will work fine.

Thanks, I took it apart and lubed it and it shot fine for 100 shots then stopped. Removed the tank and changed bottom line because it started leaking but now fixed. What will make it stop shooting? Thanks for the help, Squirrel Bate

Keep turning up the velocity. Also, if it doesn't shoot after sitting for awhile, but then it shoots after the first or second pull, the carrier o-ring is too tight.

You need to remove the carrier, and put that SAME o-ring in the next half size larger carrier.
