    Minimag setup tips.

First, nice forum, alot has changed since I stopped playing 10 years ago. I recently acquired another minimag, after selling my first one(idiot). The new one came with an armageddon reg and 114 ci composite tank that is in a remote setup going thru a benchmark on/off, ive noticed after much lurking that most players seem to use drops now and not remotes. Since AGD markers have a reg already should I bother with a drop with a dovetail for the armageddon, or use a simple on/off drop, and sell the reg. I noticed that the diameter of the bottle thread is larger than co2, do they make an on off that will fit the nitro bottle? Im just trying to streamline the marker and keep it simple. I installed a level 10 today, which worked like a charm and a ceramic j&j 14 inch barrel. Any suggestions would be welcome on ways to incorporate what i have or what to work towards.
Sorry for the long post, thanks again.

Just get rid of thet big ole' geddon, pick up a small drop and asa . Pick up a cheap 68 or 88/4500 carbon fiber tank that outputs 800+psi and you are good to go. Rock on with your new minimag! Let me know if you need any help setting it up.

thanks for the help, I am confused on one thing, the carbon fiber tank I have has an air america neck in it that screws into the armegeddon reg. Is there any drops with on off that fit this larger neck size, are all nitro 4500 tanks this size.
        thanks again.

The nitro bottle should have the same threads as a CO2. The bottles are usually interchangeable on the guns and screw into a standard ASA adapter.

You should be able to get a good drop and on/off assembly that will work for you and will allow you to screw your bottle directly into it.
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.

no athomas is wrong, the armageddon tank has threads that only fit the armageddon reg.

Like the Tuna Said, Sell the armagddon and get a nice screw in 45/45 or 68/45( take a look at Pmi's tanks)

I had no idea the Armageddon tanks were different. Thanks for pointing that out.

Definately sell the Armageddon. I wouldn't keep a tank that was not universal with all equipment.
