    Safety Pin on Micro E-mag

Just now, my safety pin fell out as I was trying to take my Micro-E apart.. but I think I just read that the sear does not come loose, meaning I cant take the body off the trigger (is this right?). So, how should I go upon putting the safety back in. What I see through the safety hole is a loose small spring, and a little chrome ball fell out... now, can someone please help me out with this... getting a little frustrated.

DO Not try to pull your body off the frame without removing the sear pin. Its on the right side of the gun.

Ok.. I didn't try pulling it off (thank god), so um, that would be on my left, its the little screw above the safety. I unscrewed that, but it didnt come out. Oh... wait a minute, I think I should of pushed it from the other side after I unscrewed it, rite?

When holding the Micro E in your hand, the sear pin unscrews from the left. You will have to push it out from the right. The Micro E sear will have an insert that you don't want to lose.

In order to re-install the safety, you will need the safety spring and ball. Drop the spring in and from the right side of the frame compress the closet surface with a pick. Begin to slide the safety in and stop when the leading edge is even with the side of the spring you aren't holding with the pick. Drop the ball in and then using a hex key push the ball in from the top. Now you push the safety in a bit and make sure the ball is held down with the pick. Remove the hex key and finish replacing the safety.

Mmkay, I'll do that tommorow, just so i know, how does this insert look like, and where exactly is it on the sear. Thanks.

The sear insert is basically a diameter reducer for the hole in the sear. When you take the sear pin out and remove the main body, the insert will most probably just fall out. If you plan on taking the sear out don't forget to remove the solenoid plunger c-clip.

That is NOT how the safety ball goes in. It goes UNDER the safety...not on top.

Yes. Slide the safety out a little, drop the spring in the lower hole and set the ball on top of the spring. No tke an allen wrench the same size as the hole and shove both the spring and ball below the surface of the safety pin hole. Using pressure and keeping your finger over the hole(so you dont lose it) slam the safety pin home while removing the allen wrench.
