retro valve issues...on/off pin... or um something

i've never heard of this happening before...but

    [retro, lx, ule body, i-frame]

when i pull the trigger it fires...when i release it, it fires!
it was sounding rather full auto'ish for awhile too
that went along with some nasty sounding leaks and what have you...
it seems to be ok if you hold the trigger in
but upon release, it fires wildly...
i did have it torn down completely but i know i re-assembled it correctly
    is it an oring?

hmmm...have you checked your sear or on/off pin setup? Also check to see if you forgot to put in an o-ring.

Try turning down your input pressure.

You can also try messing with the field strip screw. Only hand-tighten it. The tolerances are very tight so any difference caused by the frame/rail/body interface will be quite large.

i think the sear looks ok... it's pretty old but it doesn't seem to have excessive wear
the on/off pin i'm not completely sure about but it doesn't seem any worse than it was when it worked fine(the brass assembly is a little beat up

as i'm sitting here thinking about it, it could be that the ule body isn't sitting right
it worked fine the first time i used it but i did notice some wear on the edge of the bolt
i'll have to try a friend's body on my gun to see if this is it....

            update

ok it wasn't the body, it did the same thing with a stock body
            now it's just getting worse...
i think it ruined my sear now... the from part that catches the bolt is showing wear
i checked all the o-rings and they all seem good...i'm thinking it's the on/off pin but it's hard to say for sure
i suppose it could be the reg seat o-ring but it's hard to test just that o-ring by itself...
i guess i have to wait for my parts kit to arrive(shipped today)
i fear i may end up buying a new on/off pin and sear

              figured it out

ya nevermind i figured it out...
              i finally decided
hey maybe i ought to measure my on/off pin...
well put it this way i guess i missed the 1/8" piece that snapped off the end :o

              so for future reference
don't just say check your on/off pin...
              measure the thing...
you might not be able to see if it's worn or anything but you'll be able to tell when it's broken right away
it looked fine, it broke so clean that it looked like it was just worn a bit
and i didnt notice that it was shorter until i held a ruler to it
