    Mag Classic Shutdown during tourney

Saturday Afternoon my mag just up and died at the chrono right before a semifinal match. The marker had been plauged with Serious Shootdown problems since I bought it (second owner from ebay).

If I set my starting shot at 300 the next shot would be 200 when I first got it. Before It died the second shot would barely move the bolt to fire. Also, A problem that I noticed after my second game with the gun was that the on/off valve wouldn't depressurize after I de-gas the marker. Then when I strip the gun the pin flies out and hits me right in the face (rather painfully I might add)

At first I thought it was the Autococker Vert. Reg. that was being used as a dropforward being too constrictive. I took out the regulating assembly and still shootdown.

Then I sent in for a new regulator seat and replaced it a week or so ago. Put it in Still same problems.

Then I was at the chrono and fired my clearing shot and the second shot sounded like a short-stroke (but I didn't short stroke it) and started leaking out the barrel. The third just did nothing. I shrugged to the ref and had to play with a dead gun (was going to go for the flag but the other team (with working markers) got there before I could). Went back to the Chrono after the game showed the Ref my gun wasn't working and signed my papers.

Took it back to a friendly team's table and proceded to loose my sear pin. Fortuneatly they let me borrow a tipmann to finish the tourney with (Did Decent with it).

Any Ideas about it? I called up AGD Tech Support 3 times today (1pm, 3pm and 4:30pm) and got a message saying that they were at the Chicago NPPL and wouldn't be back until the 9th (Seems as if they're a bit late)

    A few questions:

    Co2 or HPA?

    Level 10?

The reg seat needs to be in the right way, did it "snap" on to reg assembly (back part of the valve)?

Are you SURE you gutted the cocker reg completely? That could be a major issue of your shootdown... try to go without it completely...
Hey Zero, how much did that Chipley cost ya?

HPA, LvL 7, I did remove all of it. I would double check and run my tank vertical but I lost the sear pin. But just the reg starving the valve wouldn't account for all the problems I'm having.

also I'd like to mention that now when I hook up my tank it just blows air down the barrel. Pulling the trigger just makes it sputter and belch.

tech support at AGD told me to buy an oring kit.

heh. I've been meaning to replace all my o-rings anyway.

also, I successfully timed my first autococker today and I feel good. But Air Leaks out of the bottom Allen Bolt on the Front Block (right below the 4-way). any ideas? hasn't done this before. I took off the LPR to tighten the 4-way earlier this morning but I don't see how that would cause the Allen Bolt to leak. This bolt does not turn and appears to be loc-tited in place (with very liberal amounts of loc-tice because there is no way I can turn it)
